what else can reduce terrorism?

I remember a political science professor who suggested our government gives aid to other countries to keep them from attacking us. Poor US citizens often have much more financial wealth/assistance available to us than many poor people in other countries. Our poor people are viewed as rich, greedy, and wasteful. We waste educational opportunities some people in other countries would literally kill for.

Perhaps this OLTP thing will become incentive for us to get off our butts & do some cleaning up on our own, as individuals, without asking too much from government. As an example, I've been reclycling PCs & installing Linux on them to help people in New York City get computers at home. I hope to start doing some bigger projects soon, too - community center computers, etc.

No, I don't hate you for your comments. I just wish I saw more suggestions as to HOW this "cleanup @ home" could be done. I know there are a lot of issues. Including all of them might take an entire volume of books, but if we offer positive suggestions as to how, we still can make the world a better place.
