I recall the announcement of these laptops on CNN.com ages ago. The fact it followed through and has begun implementation is perhaps miraculous. The idea behind these laptops, were to provide these kids with digital versions of the books they need. Imagine everything you could do with a laptop educationally. Thats the whole idea. Too bad i didn't have that when i was their age tho. And too bad this isn't available to americans either
