What a load of crap.
Seriously- Aren't these the same scientists who predicted the coming ice age three decades ago, and who can't accurately predict Sunday's temperature on Friday evening? And despite their track record of being wrong, we're supposed to believe they're right THIS TIME, and that the ONLY solution is to stop burning things to produce energy?

Isn't it just possible that if this DOES turn into a real problem, we might come up with some new technology in a few more decades that could solve it, rather than destroying technological civilization today to TRY to prevent it (even though we all know that's impossible?)

Who wants to bet me $1000 that 30 years from now, Al Gore and his followers will be proven to be as wrong as they were when they were 30 years ago when they were predicting the next ice age?
