I agree with this on so many levels

First and foremost example would be Napster, it got shutdown even though the RIAA still ended up having to sue individual file-swappers. Think about how much time they lost in that deal chasing the wrong people.

Regulations must be able to filter out the smut without harming the general good.

To stunt the growth of the information age with legal matters is frustrating.
I am a firm believer that we should punish those who step out of line, not those who make it possible to step out of line.

These so-called preventative measures are just simply too treacherous to attempt to implement. I am surprised that the electronic medium is still legal with some of the lines of thinking that politicians have
