No magic formula

Congress and much of the public is concerned with the depth and breadth of "objectionable" activities on the internet ranging from distribution of pornography to "theft" of music and video to pediphiles chatting with children in chat rooms. They try to change the system rather than prosecute violations and that may be a hopeless task.

In order to make our airline system "secure" we make it difficult to use and mostly dissatisfying. The same people are trying to apply the same methods to the internet and even technology in general.

And we let them do it to us.
