I can accept that as an answer.
You're saying in essence, if I decide to hurt you, tough. What're you going to do about it?
Just remember, though, that you could have decided not to hurt anyone.

By the way, I used the buggy whip comparison myself in a post about the RIAA. I was saying that they wanted to kill a hugely profitable distribution method because it wasn't part of the way they were used to doing business.
However, no matter how adaptive, responsive, even innovative a company might be, it's hard to beat free. So the buggy whip analogy doesn't apply.
If you want a comparison that'll gladden Microsoft's opponents, it's like Microsoft making the browser "free". Didn't do much good for Netscape revenues, did it?!
