Always some cost
The wind mills kill birds and they have hugely fluctuating power which is hard to store. Also there is considerable maintenance.

Nothing is free. hydro electric - hard on fish. Nuclear - more risk in spent fuel or fuel transportation. PV panels require lots of toxic chemicals to make.

They's advantages and dis-advantages ta each!
