TZEdit not the only needed tool
TZEdit is relatively trivial for a small number of systems. You can get multiple free tools to do the change automatically, pay MS for the privilege of obtaining the update for Win2K, push out a registry change, etc. Not all that hard to do and fairly easy to automate.

Now visit an Exchange server installation. Update the OS on the server, update the client workstation OSs. Again pretty trivial and seems to work without problems. Finally, you are ready to update Exchange and it's stored appointments. Now the **** hits the fan. Check for several stories of updates that just didn't work or even worse, worked part way. Think of the joy being expressed by the users when they read your email stating that about 50% of their appointments updated properly and the other 50% didn't -- and you haven't the vaguest idea which is which.
You don't have all your appointments backed up on paper?

That chicken farm begins to seem more and more attractive as 2:00 AM, March 11, 2007 creeps closer.
