Okay cable TV is like software.
Cable TV should be free to anyone who permits it to come into his house. No restrictions should be placed on content, and cable companies are not permitted to differentiate themselves from competitors based on better reception or any other technical advantage.

A bill is now before the California legislature mandating these rules for Cable TV, and thus saving the State a great deal of money. True, the rules so far apply only to government installations, but that's only the start, leverage for forcing other organizations to demand free cable TV.

The enemy is profit, and it must be hunted down before it does too much damage.

Right?
