They got me one last time

The stores around here are closing and have %20 off most goods there, I had a gift card I wanted to use before they closed and popped in to see what I could score. I ended up walking out with the parts to build a new system instead. lol The sales guy even talked me into buying the vista upgrade somehow. I ended up with 2gb of ddr2667 ram that was not compatable with my motherboard or faulty, I have not figured that out yet. I also have been fighting the clean install issue with the upgrade version of vista. ALL SALES FINAL!!! Im out #300 for the ram and what, $250 for the vista upgrade?? If I could I would return both and get my money back. I really should have thought about buying this stuff with stars in my eyes and the thought of a new system on the cheap. I should have went home and checked prices at other places also.

Good riddance, Only reason I stopped in there from time to time was they were the closest retailer that sold motherboards, CPU's cases and cabling for it all. Customer service has always sucked. I went in usually knowing what I wanted anyway so not being able to finds anyone to help me was not a big deal. Think they could have made it work had the service been there, oh and actually having prices, or the correct price on the shelf of heavan forbid the item itself would sure have made shopping there easier. I see best buy is starting to carry a few cases and power supplies here and there.
