Don't know about your second point and I admit I'm curious.
However your first point ie Movies and Pixar is not Pixar Disney and while the movie
giants are not involved with the RIAA they still have the same issues and the same
level of greed I would imagine. I have a hard time seeing Disney or Sony or
Paramoount being thrilled without having as complete a control and mastery of their
product as they can manage.
