with napkins cleaning off powder streaks above the mouth, . . and donuts weren't served. Nothing else much explains their decades of anti-consumer, thoroughly pro Industry takes on price fixing, copyright bolstering, Fair Use whithering and categorizing most all consumers as pirates or potential thieves even within the desires and rights of Fair Use and the Home Recording Acts. They've created a world where consumers have a right to backup their purchases but can not legally use the tools to do so. To them, backup means buy an additional full priced copy and stick it in a vault.

Unfortunately, Steve Jobs wasn't available to smack them over the heads with a giant whack a mole mallot, barbed for their pleasure.
