The idea of patents should be to protect the littleguy
not to deter competition. I think patents should be allowed for somethings, but
software is not one of them. Networks copy each others programs, both NBC and
CBS are now having their "Taking care of your parents" news programs. All our cars
look the same. Many of these patents awared to software companies are like trying
to patent putting a radio in a car.
