Agreed... Just look at the Mpeg-LA
alliance. They've been collecting royalities world wide..

Yet very few mpeg devices are produced in the US and roughly twenty percent ends up in the US. But, they allocate collected royalites distribution based on US patents. tsk.. tsk.. Something got's to give if they rule in favor of M$.

Oh.. I noticed M$ attorney's didn't mention that a fair number of those foreign made PC's are re-imported back into the US (sometimes by the foreign consumer). Attempts to mislead the Supreme court aren't going to win you any favors.

Congress passed a law to extend liability to US made components which are in turn used to manufacture a patented device..
