I know what you mean
I too hate the people who do not shut off their cell phones during meetings, we are all involved in a subject trying to resolve it and their cell phone rings and they answer it. And most of the time its personal calls. When i now hold a meeting I tell eveyone to shut their phones off if not then I ask them to leave the meeting, but if they say they have to get any call that comes in I show them the door. and usally they trun off the phone.

Now my CEO has made it a rule at meetings all cell phones and blackberrys are to be shut off till after the end of the meetings.
