I went for an interview as a client-site ServiceDesk manager for an outsourcing company. There was a panel of three interviewers - the MD, the HR manager and one other manager who had been a ServiceDesk Manager.
The interview lasted for two hours and during that time each of them had a cellphone AND a blackberry on the desk in front of them and at any time at least one of them, sometimes more than one, was either reading or responding to a message, or answering a call... I thought it was pretty rude, but they were the interviewers so couldn't really say anything. However that was just one of the reasons I decided I didn't want to work for them... - Posted by: janey@...
