Google drives lots of traffic. I'm willing to bet the defense never even analyzed the actual statistics. This smells slightly of the whole RIAA battle - some executives somewhere think somehow they are losing money and instead of doing due diligence and really researching the landscape, they make a knee-jerk reaction that is going to come back and bite them horribly.

I agree that Google should filter the plaintiffs completely. See how that feels after their sites turn into ghost towns. Information WANTS TO BE FREE. That is it's natural state happy
