Power-5 has been out there quite a while. Although the processor speed has been cranked up a couple of times, Power-5 is getting a bit long in the tooth.
The Big Unix box performance game is usually a one-upmanship match between Sun, IBM, and HP, albeit it has been a while since Sun was #1.
If IBM pulls this off in a few months, my bet is that they are back on top of the heap.
