Clear enough
No infrastructure is needed for these computers to talk to each other, as was stated quite clearly: one of the features listed was "wireless connectivity", and it said that "Groups of the laptops can communicate with each other even without an Internet connection under a pioneering "mesh" network so children can swap images and collaborate on projects." For Internet connection they need a satellite, which was not mentioned in this article.
