Please tell us HOW people watching a fuzzy garbled youtube video are making
money? (this should be good; I'll get the popcorn I pirated from ADM... :rolleyes: )

Half the time you're sharp on the ball. The other times, like this one, you really say some bizarre things.

And now for the funky analogies: How about gun manufacturers or stores that sell guns? People misuse and pirate their products all the time too... often to make money as well. What's the difference?

Sorry, but they DO hurt themselves. The company that owns "Three's Company" had a tantrum over video clips being displayed. Unsure of later seasons, I wanted a reminder of what they were like before plonking down $30 per season. The shows aren't on cable and cable's not worth a penny in the first place...

Here's a solution that would benefit all, since nobody else has any ideas: Viacom and all the rest put up clips on their own wretched sites. Then we, the consumers who keep them wealthy, can decide if it's worth the money. After all, we're not allowed to return discs onec we open them (which makes it stealing on their part; people have a right to return most things if they do not like them... why pay for something they don't like or need?)
