You have it dead on right. Market demand creates markets not the government. I shudder in my little blue booties EVERYTIME I hear the government is going to subsidize to energize.
The governments purpose is not to creat jobs. Quite the contrary the governements job is to creat an atmosphere condusive to the creation of jobs and business by investors etc. This is accomplished by getting off the backs of the public and business with low taxation and minimal government regulation.
