what the fcc wants to involve 'the concept''of voice over ip to 'taxation anyway. Just what does it mean :
a.)a communication is wich is used over the internet of wich a 'voice is heard on both ends.
- a device
- a software of some type of wich is simply and application used to do the same.
b.) a company or corporate that does the same via distribution of a product wich does so - communicate using a 'listened to voice.
For sure its would be a slingfest from its start of a suggestion via some california companies being stated as 'doing the same as traditional phone companies. (and what we make from that is some kind of historical reference, practice).
Then there is the 'taxation, well if we cant tax this lets tax that. Make the afluence of the use of such a (if nothing else) concept 'taxable via its criteria of 'use as communication since - of course this has 'got to take away from the base of wich FCC is dealing its dole in the first place.
Then think where does the line meet - the device, the phone line or cable company. Another doling criteria of wich only thing you need is a cruise ship with an internet connection to be certainly sure all the criteria is met.
NOt doing a whole heck of a lot by confusing so many with so little in an aquisition of technology wich by now is nothing more that a curcuit board some software, and an internet connection.
Add them to the tv set,add them to the phone, and them to the radio, the washer dryer, garage door.
Equip them with software 911. But equip them with something other than a singular underscore of 'voice over ip'. I would bett that 20 different people would give your multiples times the defines for it with a single application being the only self regarded undertoe.
If FCC takes the right to 'tax - then companies will make the right to 'charge',and guess what ''we are legit now"". Does that make the application do anything at all ?
Think somehow its just a big wake, and most know what that means. And they know what it doesn't mean.
Hint:generalize as much as possible. VOIP is a small audience. May have a big seller. But small audience already.
