Bingo! Listen to the man, he speaks truth. I spent a lot of time on my CNE once, more time on MCSE and it would have been time better spent reading the books and fixing real problems. The most frustrating thing is to have people approving projects because they toke a MCP and unable to even discuss what they are disapproving. Character, intelligence and work ethic will keep the shop running when the certificates are so much wall paper, but try to get a crack technician past HR without that wallpaper.
