Not a microsoft bash- it was a MSCE bash.
There wasn't a bash on Microsoft in there Daemon.

While I find microsoft's business practices repugnant and probably illegal (i.e. stealing someone elses product(Stac)and being found guilty in court as evidence for that statement), I recognize that real businesses get real work done with their products.

My statement is that a person without MSCE certification may be able to set up and keep your network running much better than many fresh MSCE's because from my experience, MSCE's only have to know how to pass the test- not how to do the work. My friend went to some place on the web that had every test question and every answer for those questions. He memorized by rote the questions and answers. In some cases he did not even know what the question and answer really meant (and to be fair some of the questions seemed pointless in a real environment).

The same is true for any certification unless that certification includes at least a day's worth of hands on lab work.
