Where are the mercury recycling plants?
Seriously, I see where you both are comming from, but mercury is one of the deadliest substances known.

To say that there are "flourecent lights all over the place" is the same as saying that we are willing to move the polution from coal burning electrical plants to mercury filled ground water.

Calif should not force people to use CF unless they have a plan to dispose/recycle the used or broken bulbs
