DVRs are illegal than
When you pay for Tivo or any type of DVR than you are paying for the royalties to the DVR patent owner. Not one cent is being paid to owners of the media you are recording. So using a DVR, VCR, Camcorder,Cassete recorder, DVD burner, or Computer is all the same (Copy of content). The Federal, State, and Local Law enforcement agencies just dont have the resources to go after personal copiers. They will only go after black market operators on a very large scale. Bottom line Content makers need to adapt to the current technology and find a way to come out on a profitable side. The Black Market will never go away.
