- Studios don't give customers what they want

People want to use their existing devices with audio and video. They don't want to be restricted. The studios don't provide unrestricted downloads, and their restricted downloads aren't cheaper than unrestricted DVDs and CDs. Until that demand is met, people will fill it themselves however they can.
Why do we continue to assume that sharing creativity is bad? Music and plays and other similar creations were shared for hundreds of years and no one raised a stink; we expect to put that cat back in the bag within a generation or two? It isn't going to happen.
