Reply from author - good question!
I don't know those particular tools but my first exposure to case tools was 15 years ago, in the form of Teamwork and ASA. You are absolutely right in saying its been tried before, I would venture that much progress has been made over the past five years particularly in the standardisation of programming interfaces and modelling techniques. These are driving towards a much higher level of automation than was previously possible.

Time will tell, but as I believe this was always the right answer, I also perceive continued effort to achieve it. It is only a matter of time before the code (sic) is cracked, and MDA offers the best opportunity yet. The question is not so much "is it right?" than "will it be adopted?"

Best,

Jon Collins
