A lovely idea,but...
I'm very glad that Sun is introducing yet another language to serve the needs of a particular community. And I think it's great and fine that they're open-sourcing it.

I am also grateful for the millions Sun has spent on Java. and earlier on creating the DNS system and other important networking breakthroughs.

I would like to see Sun also release some products that make money, though. I would be saddened if Sun continued its altruistic record of innovation without monetization until it actually went bankrupt.
