It is Vista loaded not Vista sold that counts right now
I purchased computer equipment from Best Buy using a Business account prior to the new year to take advantage of the tax implications you can get for computer equipment put into service.

Best Buy was very interested in categorizing the sale as a business sale even though I wasn't really interested in earning the points you get as a business at Best Buy. The computer came with Windows XP professional installed and a coupon for Vista professional. So here is the question or observation. How was the sale categorized? Was it a Vista sale or a Windows XP sale.

My point is that Ballmer has been caught in the past. He made big statments about product shipped when it is product sold that counts. Is he making statments about Vista sold when it is Vista loaded that really counts? I likely will not load Vista until 2008, just as IDC says most businesses are doing.
