- Poor people's software
- I knew quite a few college students who pirated Photoshop. Some of them went on to graphics design. None of them could have afforded the software, so they stole it, and no company lost a dime. They were poor people wanting a rich mans program to learn. So lets track them down and cut off their fingers??? Some would say thats the righteous thing to do others would say its just flame bait. I say if someone is out there making money off pirated software fine them for a first offense, jail them for a second. Pirated software and movies are not going to be the fall of our enconomy and they're not contributing to it either. Its just a pathway for poor people to afford something they can't buy and a pathway for a pirate to look cool around his friends.
