802.11 built in?
That means that in many areas you don't need Cingular's expensive data plan, just access to a wireless network

Mobile networks, even 3G networks, are far more ubiquitous than Wi-Fi hotspots and - though I am going by T-Mobile UK rates here - ?7.50 extra per month is cheaper than ?6.00 per hour, no reality distortion field can alter that.

With many cities going to ubiquitous free wifi, this seems like a no brainer.

And beyond city limits...?
