What about its built in 802.11n?
That means that in many areas you don't need Cingular's expensive data plan, just access to a wireless network. That will speed up the use of google maps and other browser issues dramatically and at no additional data plan cost to the user.

Am I wrong? I may be. I am not as up to date on phone lingo and specs as I once was.

With many cities going to ubiquitous free wifi, this seems like a no brainer.
