I think it's a big mistake to put servers in the hands of untrained/unqualified people (a security nightmare) UNLESS Microsoft or third party is going to manage it all remotely and the user pay them to update it,secure it, configure it, figure out why it crashed do all the dirty work as part of a yearly contract or subscrption service is that how it will work?

Home Servers will be a huge target for attack were going to see how good their security really is if this happens.
