Who's VP in charge of lies?
All this sounds good, but who controls the lies? I've had new Dells about every 3 to 5 years since the early 90's.
This last time I reneed my contract ONLY if it would cover and tesh support that I might run into with Windows XP.
When I call support it's because I need support not someone reading off a monitor in Banglidesh. I was assurred I would be covered.
A few months ago I ran into a corrupt XP file that wouldn't repair. I called Dell and was told I was not covered and it would cost me $69.00 for them to answer my question.
I tried to complain... there are no phone complaints!
I was given the land mail address of Dell in Texas. I wrote them explaining how I was mislead (or lied to) to get me to pay for the new service agreement.
Dell's reply?.......... Nothing!
I'm guessing they know they lied to their customers, so what is there to say?
You'd think they'd at least answer someone that has bought over 4 or 5 PC's and many other things form them?.... Nope!
Dell, you wnat to keep your customers?
Get someone to run an honest consumer complaint division, instead of letting India police them selves.
If someone there tricks you into purchasing something and you complain to them... How are you ever going to find out?
Restructure? All lip service, no substance, Dell truned me off after years of sending them business. Personally I think they should worry about getting back their reputation... for real (instead of playing exicutive switch around to make stock holder happy)
