I've been in the Consumer Electronics industry for 26 years. I've never seen a year like this one. How can the industry be under investigation for anti-competitive practices when prices have dropped 30% in one year? Name me another industry that reduces costs to consumers faster than that... ever....

LCD plants cost billions of dollars (with a "B") to build. I can't see how companies are going to recoop investments. If things don't change the industry is headed for consolidation and a period of low investment. Neither is good for the consumer.
