Well that, or somebody with car problem whose waiting for the repair man to investigate the problem...

Point noted, but he's with his family who would be the people who know him best.

Dufus comment:

He's *with* his family, and no doubt he check in with coworkers about *work*, but he's on holiday now.

Worry yes, but start publishing personal details, and getting the police to check his credit card.... you see my point, the worry is well meaning, but the guy doesn't forfeit his privacy just because he forgot to cancel an appointment.

Really they should relax and definitely refrain from publishing anymore personal details.
