Vista& Office Giveway.
Missed it. As for Linux I installed UBUNTU on a second drive of my 2000pro mch. It is for the birds. Can't even get the resolution right. It is either 1600x1200 or 640x480. Even reloaded and selected 800x600. Still at 1600x1200. Never got the mail to work. So as I have always been told anything thats free isn't much good. If you like Linux use it I will stick with XP Pro. Downloaded IE7 and really like it. As for companies stealing ideas from other companies, Ford was first to install balljoints in front suspension in 1952. Everyone uses it now. Were first to get brake master cylinder off the frame under the car and put on firewall.1952 Also first to have pressurized cooling system. First to use assembly line. Some foreigners may have had these first but Ford was first in US. I was an auto mechanic for 60plus yrs. Closed my shop Dec 2002 so I know what I am talking about. GM had first Auto transmission in US, 1949.
