Reinstall. Why do you do this?

You claimed:

"So will this effect McDonalds With there [sic] patent on making the sandwich...."

Your Post:
"So logic dictates they are patenting automated process of putting the sandwich together."

Does not 'process of putting a sandwich together' equate to making a sandwich?

The other issues are:

Since Henry Ford first conceived of the assembly line, isn't it obvious to use it in every assembly operation (even that of a sandwich)?

Since the automation of assembly lines by using robotics, isn't it obvious to use robotics in all assembly lines?

Now that begs the question:
"Why didn't every fast food joint think of this years ago?"

The obvious answer is:
"They did but years ago such an undertaking was cost-prohibitive and is not any longer."

So perhaps we can rephrase your post to be:
"McDonalds cannot patent a sandwich nor the human endeavor of putting it together nor the idea of automating the process because sandwich making and automation are prior art and food isn't patentable. So logic [del]dictates[/del] [ins]suggests[/ins] they are patenting technology to allow the formidable handling of sandwich ingredients by automated robotic devices.

Of course we can just do a Google search on the topic then we would be called "informed posters" but that would be a ridiculous notion.
