Examples, please

While I may not disagree with your opening remarks, I take exception to your last. Please provide examples of other DVR services that are BOTH "as good" and "a lot cheaper". I've found plenty that are "a lot cheaper", but nowhere near as good. I've found a few that are "as good", but not "a lot cheaper". I've done the math and never come up with "a lot cheaper". And please don't suggest that I reuse my old full sized PC in my entertainment center.
