- Yes really...

Either your spreading FUD... or you don't watch things to closely. If you know anything in regards to the computer industry business of Linux and open source, microsoft, Novell, Linux and the like you would have a much different veiw.
You said and I quote -
"No business is going to go for this clause except the linux distributors. Anyone else would just be giving up all rights to their code and products which they aren't likely to do."
There are tons of business wising up to the fact that Microsoft is not the only way or solution, and you don't have to make a buck for every last thing you put togehter for your customer.
Such as the Sun Micro System Java to open source and IBM asking them to make it open source under GPL...
If your unaware - in short Sun Micro systems just signed it's JAVA code to Open Source, such as the GPL Licensing that Linux is under.
Just so you can verify... Such as Sun Mico and IBM as you can see in the following links...

If it's just your uninformed please refrain from commenting until you can base your statement on something, but I am assuming you are just speading FUD, in that case please realize that some people actually are smart enough to make a living off of Open Source and Linux, we also have very happy customers who rarely have problems and are excited to call on use if they have problems because they see the benifits and rock solid attributes of linux in the enterprise.
Beleive me, I have no problem with you or yours using Microsoft. Infact please feel free... oops I mean not free... pay all you want for it... I will go on saving myself and my customers time and money with true rock solid solutions to their problems on their network systems. - Posted by: graphx Posted on: 11/22/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
