I agree with you for the most part. This new clause is definitely going to kill off Novell and Suse should they adapt it. The same holds true for any linux distributor. And finally we see the downfall of linux begin. Collapsing under its own pressure in just trying to keep up, doing more damage to itself than Microsoft or anyone else ever could. By using it and saying you can't sue anyone for a patent will be its own death.

Now who benefits from this? Just about everyone thats not associated with linux. Microsoft will be happy since they have one less competitor to worry about.

Then you go on about the BSD issue which I already proved to you won't happen. So no I have no need to side with linux for any reason.
