New GPL clause to flip Microsoft-Novell deal on its head?
Again the linux community takes a reaction and a late one at that. Adding this clause isn't going to effect Microsoft in the slightest bit. Microsoft and Novell already have an agreement in place long before this clause was formed. I wouldn't expect corporates to take it up either if they are not able to protect their products from this clause. The only one it really applies to would be hobbiest programmers who are dumb enough to use the GPL in the first place.
