i am not desensitized...
well, to be honest, I don't like playing violent games to begin with anyway, but I loved call of duty 2 which is a war game and disliked games like GTA:SA. I had my fair share of laser tags when it was popular.

Blood still makes me cringe. Seeing people getting beat up on tv/movie still makes me uncomfortable. People thinks that actively participate in simulated killing desensitizes people but I don't see how that is possible without some kind of mental issues of the individual. If it's only that simple, we can make our kids become doctors by forcing them to play ER games, or become successful business man by playing monopoly, or become pilots by playing flight sim.

if only the world is that simple and everyone just believe blindly in what is given to them in the media...
