Actually the inherent nature of man
is not one of violence. It's of love and compassion. Violence is a learned trait. One that is perpetuated in today's dog eat dog society. It's roots go well back into the early days of man when communication was only through grunts and gurgles. The ability to articulate desire didn't exist for a very long time. So the only actions that were understood were fawning and clubbing.

With the advent of language this behaviour could have been regressed and removed but for some reason it wasn't. Granted it takes violence to obtain food, but to enact violence upon another human being is abhorant to most morally conscious people. Violence is perpetuated in our society via games, movies and even the bible. But if you dig deep down inside your true self, of who you really are you will find that you are not violent by nature, quite the contrary. The problem is, many will never be able to reach their true selves as they are covered with the falseness modern society and it's convenient materials for denial and escaping who a person really is.
