I totally disagree..
Since I was 6 or 7 years old, my older brother got me into Horror movies like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street, and I even play role playing games.

I even play violent video games. I have no desire to harm anyone, in fact you can ask any of my friends and they will tell I am the nicest person you could ever meet. Games, Movies, and TV are not to blame.

The problem is much deeper, and normally related to a mental disorder, but not necessarily depression.

First it was Dungeons & Dragons in the late 70's through the 80's, and then in the 90's it was violent TV shows and movies. Now it is video games.

The problem is with the individual themselves. They cannot see any clear answer and are afraid to ask for help.

It could be a form depression, since depression is still really a new territory. There are many medicines that can help, but it takes time to find the right one because everyone is different.

Stop blaming everyone else when the answer is with the individual. There needs to be more help for people. Some people cannot afford the help that is provided which makes it worse for them.

I truly feel for the people who are hurt or killed in these situations, but we also need to be responsible for our own actions.
