It doesn't really seem to matter much which particular view a person has. I've seen both the MS and Linux zealots getting excited in here. I doesn't seem to take long before they're calling each other names. I think most people work in some kind of mixed environment. I'm not sure how you thought I was wrong on what I said about NT. DOS and 3.11 were about the only products MS had before NT. NT was a big break from what they'd done previously. Most of the software that ran on 311 did work on NT, but there was no promise from MS that it would. As for how long I've been dealing with computers, since before NT, and 3.11, and DOS, and hard drives, etc. My opinions are based on what I think I see. In general the writing staff here seems to favor MS. They may not agree with every MS idea or policy. The people who comment here seem to have slightly higher numbers in favor of MS. The zealots on either side can rant pretty good at times. As for which servers and applications ZdNet uses, they're pretty typical.
