I guess it's all perception
by my count zdnet, which runs on Linux and has pro linux staff, is about 85 percent linux and apple zealots and 10% MS and 5% mixed.
Maybe it's just that the Linux group is more zealous? Maybe it's seeing the M$, vaporware, windoze, microsucks blah blah mentality of the linux zealots that makes them seem more plentiful and most certainly more cocky and with a bad attitude very often.
The press here is definately anti MS. Virtual Earth gets a tiny blog the same day some new unknown with a wiki headlines....stuff like that. Or a level 2 flaw IS headlines.

Backward compatibility was because they got a huge installed base quickl and had to support them? right? and many say MS doesn't care about it's users. can't have it both ways.
