Check it out: my friends and I pooled $40k together last week. We hired young guys to camp out 3 walmarts and two best buys down here in Miami for $250.
Result?
I have 15 PS3's sitting in my living room-- the other 25 are split amongst three of my friends. Four sold on "Buy It Now" auctions this morning for $2000 a piece... and I agree with you-- $3000 is overly optimistic, but not really. I saw one go for $10,000 this morning... kinda makes you think...
I did no waiting, paid $640 + $250 = $900 and made an immediate profit of over $4000 ... so far. Six others are bidding over $1500, and three I've sold to friends in Europe at $1900, complete with power converters. Leaving a few on reserve.
Now given that I took a risk by getting the cash and am paying interest for it, if I continue at my present pace, I'll have made about $20,000 in PURE PROFIT-- after interest and payouts. Given that I have invested about 20 hours of time... I think I'm doing better than minimum wage.
So, do you still think there's a bit of dillusion involved?
