Jury is still out on Mozilla
Assuming Mozilla is safe from any of the dangers of IE doesn't make any sense. This sounds like anti-microsoft rhetoric. I use mozilla when I am running linux, IE when I am running on windows. The only reason mozilla and Linux seem more secure is that they are under fire less often. As the popularity of these applications and operating systems become more pervasive you will see some of the same headlines about them. There is no such thing as a bullet proof app, if you are a programmer you should know this. Microsoft does a pretty good job of QAing most of the stuff, it's just their applications get beaten more often.
